  Programming classic ASP, Jquery, XML, HTML, CSS and graphic design for American Family Insurance’s 2009 site relaunch.

   

  Project Details

  Incorporated geo-location code that personalizes the site content based upon your IP address, connection speed and other factors still being implemented. Created Jquery code that randomizes the news articles on the bottom of the home page to allow all stakeholders an equal chance to exposure. Created a brochure rack with XML, ASP and Jquery that contains all corporate PDFs in one spot and allows the user to filter by state, type, language on the fly. Due to site architecture, consolidated 47 pages into one using a Jquery menu to access all the content without scrolling, yet remain accessible to screen readers. Incorprated a Jquery overlay to embed AmFamTv.com into every page of the site.
