About Me

People often call me a Jack of all Trades, but really I just have a lot of interests. I grew up skiing, snowboarding, and skateboarding. Throughout my childhood I was buried in the art I would create which eventually led me to art school where I started out studying computer animation.

“I am always doing that which I can not do, in order that I may learn how to do it.”
― Pablo Picasso

When I was 22, my son was born and that changed my path to retail sales and management for a while. In 2004 I got back to computers and started doing full stack & mobile development. During this time I began studying Section 508 and how to make thing accessible.

My first job in web development built upon my design background primarily, but every opportunity I’ve gotten since then has been based on my accessibility knowledge. I’ve been lucky to present at numerous conferences worldwide. I’ve presented at CSUNATC 5 times since 2016.

These days, when I’m not behind the computer doing client accessibility work you can find me making music, drawing, painting, riding my motorcycle, or contributing to a number of open source or non-profits.
